Barnaby Evans, Photographer, Community Organizer, "Barnaby Evans is a born leader with a wide vision and congenial manner. This gifted image maker who works selflessly, as a unique knack for bringing out the most cooperative effort from artists (who are generally quite independent by nature). Evans shared in the founding and direction of Providence's Gallery One, an exhibition space for artists of all persuasions He was the creator of Banner Trail in Providence, and has often worked to assist in organizing First Night celebrations. Evans developed and has managed the highly successful Regent Avenue School Artists Studio project, rehabilitating a dying building and providing and providing living and work space for artists.
