The Annunciation

ca. 1520

Angel Gabriel at left, in white cloak over green sleeved tunic, holds lilies. Mary, on right at bookstand, wears dark green mantle. Background is plain dark room of brown and black, with window at center showing sky, clouds, figure of God in cloud, and dove in flight toward Mary.
