Description
A partial garniture of three Chinese red ground classical vases (1773) by the Sevres Porcelain Manufacturer. The set consists of one large Triton vase and two smaller rams heads vases. The porcelain features painted Russian scenes after J.B. Le Prince. The larger finialed urn lid is 19th century French ormolu, as are bases for all three. Received by the Royal Superintendent at Versailles on the 24th of December 1773.
