Description
A "Votes for Women" partial luncheon service (English) by John Maddock & Sons. White glazed earthenware with blue script slogan reading "Votes for Women." Mrs. O.H.P. Belmont ordered the service for her July 8 and 9, 1914 conference of great women suffrage rally at Marble House and its Chinese Tea House. The surviving service is comprised of six luncheon plates, 265 salad plates, 131 coffee cup saucers, and one soup bowl.
