Lyon's storefront (plumbing) is visible at left; broadsides are affixed to a wall beside the building. Handwritten notes with arrows below the photo read "BREESE" and "MALBONE". Label affixed to reverse reads: " Breese House, Thames & Gidley Street, New port [sic] R.I./(House Demolished approx. 1902)/EXTERIOR VIEW".
