Description
A snuff box (Dutch, c. 1870) made of silver and semi-precious stone. The small round box features a hinged lid decorated with a light blue semi-precious stone and a band of fleur-de-lys. Along the body of the box are interlocking acanthus motifs. Stamped into the interior of the box is a silver fineness number of “800”.
