Description
A snuff box (Dutch, dated 1824) made of silver in the shape of an armoire with a pierced railing trim along the hinged lid. Incised markings decorate the box in the style of an armoire, featuring two drawers and a cupboard. Additional incised marks adorn the sides in diamond shapes, and the top of the lid in a sunburst motif. Stamped into the interior of the lid is a Dutch date letter mark of a script āPā for 1824.
