Description
A tea strainer (English, c. 1900) made of silver and ebonized wood by Galt Brothers & Co. A narrow ebonized wood handle with a turned finial connects to a diamond shaped strainer with perforations within each corner and scalloped edging. Four thin legs taper outward and support the piece. Under the strainer is stamped “W. GALT BRO. & Co / STERLING / 34”.
