Description
A fish box (American, late 19th century) made of silver. The elongated and slender fish features a stylized face and fins, along with detailed scaling throughout the body. The lower stomach of the fish is removable and opens into a compartment. Four applied fins serve as legs and allow the piece to freely stand.
