Description
A pill box (English, c. 1900) in an oval form, made of silver with vermeil wash. The hinged lid of the box features a central shield design, which has been left blank, surrounded by delicately punched scrolling, all contained within a conforming oval band. Punched into the base of the box is a delicate circular sunburst motif, centered within the same oval banding. Within the box is an open compartment with a vermeil wash.
