Description
A set of twelve Chinese export Queen Anne side chairs (Chinese, c. 1760) with frames composed of rosewood. Each chair has spooned back centered on a solid vase-form splat above a flaring seat. The whole is raised on four legs, the front two are cabriole in shape, ending in pad feet. The square rear legs have chamfered corners and terminate in block feet. The splat and seat edges are decorated with inlayed mother-of-pearl floral motifs.
