Description
An Islamic-style pen case (Indian, 19th century) made of wood, ivory, and brass. The design on the outside of the case is a mosaic pattern created by wooden inlays in red, black, white, and brown. The case slides open to reveal an internal brass inkwell with a hinged cap and storage space for pens. The bottom has the original reatil tag still attached.
