Description
A crystal vase (French, late 19th - early 20th century) with etched decoration of a flowering poppy. The opening of the vase is fluted, which leads to a long tapered neck and a circular flared base. The underside of the base has a cut starburst design and is etched in script "LeRosey; XI rue de la Paix, Paris". Le Rosey was the name of the shop used by the Paris retailers Haraut & Guignard. Original to The Elms.
