Description
A Chinese-Chippendale style George III revival silver tea table (English, c. 1880) composed of mahogany. The table has a shaped rectangular top with a pierced fretwork gallery and serpentine apron with further fretwork applied to the surface above pierced foliage scrolls. The four cabriole legs are carved with scales beneath an openwork outer casing that is carved with fretwork and acanthus leaves.
