Description
A square coved dish (English, 1882) produced by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons. The Queensware dish has a lid with a raised fish finial, the dish lid, body, and rim are decorated with colorful aquatic plants against a white ground, the edges are painted in turquoise glaze. The underside is impressed “WEDGWOOD” along with two asterisks, “T”, and the three-letter date code “LOK”, it is lettered in red glaze “R” and “c2178”.
