Description
A tray (English, late 19th – early 20th century) made by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons. Of octagonal shape, the bone china tray is decorated at center with a multi-colored butterfly against a blue luster ground, possibly an early design by Daisy Makeig-Jones (English, 1881-1945). The inner rim of the tray is decorated with two gold floral borders. The underside is marked with the picture of an urn above three stars with “WEDGWOOD / ENGLAND” separated by a single star.
