"Alpine Lake"

A small oil on board landscape entitled “Alpine Lake” (American, early 20th century) by Howard G. Cushing (American, 1869-1916). The painting depicts rippling aqua lake waters with a line of reeds before a bulwarked shoreline, a small dock juts out from a cypress and tree bedecked lawn, two peaks loom in the background. The painting is signed on the bottom right corner “Howard G. Cushing.”
