A desk sculpture doubling as a pin tray (French, early 20th century) in the form of a sea nymph rising from a wave. The sea nymph is composed of patinated bronze, her nude torso emerges from the gilded bronze base, the open form of which acts as a pin tray or “vide-poche.”
