Description
A pair of reproduction British flintlock heavy Dragoon pistols (American, c. 1950) made by the Navy Arms Company. The pair of pistols are composed of wood, steel, and brass, they are each topped by a flintlock and have a removable brass tipped wood ramrod below the barrel. Each pistol is inscribed on the lock plate “WILLETTS / 1761” and have a crown above the monogram “GR” for George III (1738-1820). These pistols were manufactured for display only and are not tempered to allow ignition, but the mechanism is fully functional.
