Description
A rectangular extension dining table (American, 19th century) composed of walnut. The tabletop has a gadrooned molded border and beaded edge, three leaves and extensions fit into the top. The table is supported by two massive carved pedestal bases with foliate decoration which each end in two paw feet and four smaller turned paw foot auxiliary legs to support the top when extended. Original to the Chateau-sur-Mer Dining Room.
