Description
A pair of continental tea caddies (European, c. 1890) of rectangular form with cut corners. The removable lids are topped with knob shaped finials. The caddies are decorated with repoussé scenes of playing putti and children surrounded by scrolls and shell-work. The top and base have a beaded band. Their undersides are marked with a “N” punch mark next to an undisguisable partial punch mark.
