Description
A centre table (American, 19th century) composed out of mahogany, attributed to the retailer R. J. Horner & Company, NY. Done in 17th century taste, the table has a rectangular top with a molded edge above a frieze carved with lappets and foliage. The table is raised on four bulbous baluster legs carved with gadrooning and foliage. The legs end in bun feet and are joined by a block H-shaped stretcher.
