Description
A lidded tea canister (French, 19th century) of oval form composed out of continental silver 800. The canister is decorated with a repousse scene of figures in 17th century dress proceeding through a garden setting. The canister is marked on the underside with ā13ā in a square punch and ānā in a shield shaped punch.
