Description
A creamware teapot and cover (English, Staffordshire or Yorkshire, c. 1780) with an entwined strap handle with raised leaf forms and a tall curved spout. The rim of the lid and top of the teapot are painted with a solid iron-red band with husks. The lid is topped by a raised flower head finial. The lid and body are painted with flowers and foliage in tones of iron-red, green, and black against a cream ground.
