Chinese Export Tea Pot with Matching Oval Tray and Cup with Saucer

A Chinese export teapot with a matching oval tray, cup, and saucer (Chinese, unknown date). The pieces are decorated in a palette of orange/melon, red, purple, and green on a white ground and feature a domestic scene of figures in a garden talking to a person in a window. This scene is surrounded by floral and landscape reserves. The lid of the teapot is topped by a lotus pod finial. The tray is marked “425” on the bottom in red.
