Description
A set of four silver teaspoons (American, Newport, early 19th century) made by Nicholas Geffroy (b. in France, American, 1761-1839). Each spoon has a shallow bowl with a downturned coffin-fiddle handle. The handles are monogrammed “MB” in script. The handles are stamped on the reverse with the mark “N. GEFFROY” in a serrated rectangle.
