Description
A LACQUERED DRESSER SET (American, early-mid 20th century), the set is composed of a large rectangular box and lid, a large hair brush, a large clothing brush, a small clothing brush, and a small hair brush. Each piece in the set is inset with a small brass medallion inscribed with the monogram "GCV" for Gertrude Conway Vanderbilt (American, 1901-1978), the wife of Harold S. Vanderbilt.
