Description
A gilded bronze dual frame (American, early 20th century) containing two photographs of a young Harold S. Vanderbilt (1884-1970) by the Ivanovitch Studio, Paris. The frame is hinged at center and is topped by a knotted ribbon design on each side. The photograph on the left shows Harold at three-quarter length wearing a dark suit leaning against a column with his arm wrapped around a small dog. The photograph on the right shows him in the same dark suit at full-length leaning/sitting on a low wall. The reverse of the photographs reads "Photographie De Luxe / Ivanovitch / 350, Rue St Honoré, 350 / près la Place Vendôme / Paris / Atelier Spécial / pour / Miniatures Sur Émail."
