Description
A PAIR OF GILT BRONZE LOUIS XV REVIVAL CANDELABRA (French, c. 1890) each with four candle branches shaped in a swirling acanthus leaf design. The bases are raised on three curled foliate feet. This set originally comes from Belcourt, Alva Vanderbilt’s Newport estate after her marriage to Oliver Hazard Perry Belmont.
