AN IVORY DRESSING TABLE SET (American, 19th century) comprised of five pieces:
.1a-b= round box and cover
.2-.3 = pair of hair brushes
.4-.5 = pair of clothes brushes
Each piece is marked with the entwined monogram "FHP" for Frederick H. Prince (1859-1953), the second owner of Marble House. The monogram on the cover of the small round box varies slightly from the other pieces.
