A PAIR OF LOUIS PHILIPPE STYLE ANDIRONS (French, 19th century) attributed to Bouhon Frères, Paris. Composed of bronze dore, the matching andirons are shaped into putti figures wrestling with dragons on curling foliate bases. These are modeled after a 1838 pair of andirons by Gilbert-Honoré Chaumont for use at Grand Trianon.
