A FOUR-PANEL SCREEN (French, late 19th century) upholstered in damask and velvet by Pregaldini, Paris. Original to Alva Vanderbilt’s bedroom at Marble House, the purple upholstery of the screen matches that of the bedroom chairs (PSNC.118.1-.4 and PSNC.120.1-.4).
