Description
ONE RENAISSANCE REVIVAL JEWEL CASKET (French, c. 1880) of rectangular shape with a hinged lid and purple velvet lined interior. The lid is topped with a seated classical female figure, the lid and body is decorated with Limoges enamel plaques with red and gold designs on a blue ground. Putti figures decorate the four corners and the casket stands on four bracket feet.
