Description
A PAIR OF EARLY 18TH CENTURY CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE JARS (Chinese, K'ang Hsi Period c.1720). Narrow circular necks lead to the ribbed ovoid form bodies, the jars are glazed with blue and white decoration. Foliate bands decorate the rim and base or each jar. The bodies have a circular cartouche at center, which depict small scenes. Each stands on a modern, elaborate carved wood stand.
