A PAIR OF CHARLES X STYLE CHENETS OR ANDIRONS (French, 19th century), the ormolu chenets are in the Neo-classical style. They are each topped by an elongated gilt bronze urn that rests atop a tall square bronze plinth with four gilt bronze paw feet. The plinth has a gilt bronze wreath on each of its sides and bands of gilt bronze foliage.
