A Set of Four Sheraton Period Mahogany Sidechairs

A SET OF FOUR SHERATON STYLE MAHOGANY SIDECHAIRS with square backs and splats carved with tassel drapery & medallion motifs, stuffed swell front seats, stop fluted carved front legs, plain square back legs, and flat stretchers. Two of the four chairs have a seat upholstered with a multi-color pansy needlepoint pattern, and the other two have a needlepoint pattern of an exotic bird perched in a tree (similar to the pattern on PSNC.8577, PSNC.8578, and PSNC.8580). The needlepoint for these chairs was done by Mrs. McBean’s maid.
