AN INK ON PAPER SKETCH OF MARGARET ARMSTRONG (American, July 27, 1895) by (her brother) Edward Maitland Armstrong (American, 1874-1915). Margaret is depicted in a bust length view, wearing a high-collared day dress with a bow tie, her hands are tucked behind her back and her eyes are down cast. It seems that Armstrong completed this sketch in a half hour, on the bottom left corner it is written "Time ½ Hour." It is signed and dated by the artist on the bottom right corner.
