OIL ON CAVNAS PAINTING OF THE HUDSON RIVER AT STORM KING (American, ca. 1860) by an unknown artist in the Hudson River School style. Depicted just to the right of center is a white paddle wheel boat cursing on the river, on the shore at right are two ladies facing the boat, one of whom waves a white handkerchief. There are mountains in the background, and the leaves on the trees have autumn colors. It is housed in an oak frame.
