An etching titled "Boyd’s Mill Portsmouth" (American, 1928) by Helena Sturtevant (American, 1872-1946). The etching depicts the eight-vane windmill in Portsmouth, RI, known as Boyd’s Wind Grist Mill, originally built by John Peterson in 1810. The etching shows the windmill at center, with figures loading/unloading a wagon that has pulled up to its front door. On the bottom left corner it is signed and dated "Helena Sturtevant 1928", and it is titled on the bottom right corner "Boyd’s Mill Portsmouth."It is housed in a black wooden frame.
