A BLACK AND WHITE LITHOGRAPH TITLED "ATLANTIC HOUSE, NEWPORT RI" (American, 19th century) after a sketch by G.T. Sanford (American, 1843-1846) done in 1846, delineated by Henry Francis Walling (American, 1825-1888), and printed by G. & W. Endicott, NY. The print shows the Northeast view of the Atlantic House, formerly on the corner of Bellevue Ave. and Pelham Street. The American flag is flying on the top of the hotel, and figures are walking by and riding by in carriages on the street. On the bottom edge of the image at center it is printed "G. T. Sanford 1846." Printed along the bottom of the image is "H. F. Walling Del./Lith. Of G. & W. Endicott, 59 Beekman ST." Beneath the title is printed "Abm. A. Potter, Proprietor." It is housed in a wooden frame.
