A HAND COLORED GELATIN SILVER PRINT PHOTOGRAPH (American, c. 1908) by Wallace Nutting (American, 1861-1941). Entitled "The Going Forth of Betty" and signed on the lower right: "Wallace Nutting". The photograph depicts a "Colonial" garbed maiden stepping from beneath the pediment portico of a white vine clad New England Federal period clapboard house. Housed in a contemporary clad giltwood frame.
