A PAIR OF PATINATED BRONZE TORCHERE-FORM LANTERNS (American, 19th century) by Henry Bonnard Bronze Co. with plinth form bases decorated with leonine (lion) masks trailing laurel swags. The columnar shafts are decorated with egg and dart, laurel and acanthus leaf motifs leading to a fluted composite-capital crowned standard with opalescent glass shade. Formerly fitted for gas.
