AN 'OAKLAND', CUT-UNDER RUNABOUT (American, 19th century) by Brewster & Co., NY. A natural wood variant of the Road Wagon or Buggy called the 'Oakland' built especially for use at Oakland Farm. The frame rests on three elliptical springs and has red pin strips.
