Description
A BLACK LEATHER LADY'S TRAVEL BAG (American, c. 1910) with a single loop handle joined to a hinged clasp. The face is embossed in gold with the monogram "MEB" for Mary Elizabeth Brayton, who on February 20, 1912 married Edward Ira Marvell. The compartmented interior is lined with green satin, and contains the key to the lock.
