The Morning Room, designed by Van der Boyen and fashioned in France, features Italian Renaissance paintings of eight of the muses done in oil on silver leaf. "The Breakers," built for Cornelius Vanderbilt in 1895, is opened to visitors under the auspices of The Preservation Society of Newport. Guided tours - Admission charge. (Richard Cheek, Photo)"
