A cabinet card photograph showing Baroness Gertrude Berwind Von Boecklin in Berlin, dressed in full court dress. She married Baron Rupprecht L.E.M. von Boecklin in Philadelphia, in October 1900. Gertrude was the niece of Edward Julius Berwind of The Elms, and a frequent visitor to the Newport Estate.
