The hand-tinted lithograph depicts a view on the Harlem River, NY with the Highbridge in the distance. It is on a medium folio and printed below image are captions that read left to right: "FROM NATURE AND ON STONE BY F.F. PALMER / entered according to the Act of Congress in the year 1852, by N. Currier, in the clerk's office of the District Court of the Southern District of N.Y. / LITH. by Currier & Ives, N.Y."
