A COLORED CURRIER & IVES (1857-1907) LITHOGRAPH ENTITLED "VIEW ON THE HARLEM RIVER, NY / THE HIGHBRIDGE IN THE DISTANCE" BY NATHANIEL CURRIER (1813-1888) AND JAMES MERRIT IVES AFTER A DRAWING BY F.F.PALMER (American, mid-19th century). The hand-tinted lithograph depicts a view on the Harlem River, NY with the Highbridge in the distance. It is on a medium folio and printed below image are captions that read left to right: "FROM NATURE AND ON STONE BY F.F. PALMER / entered according to the Act of Congress in the year 1852, by N. Currier, in the clerk's office of the District Court of the Southern District of N.Y. / LITH. by Currier & Ives, N.Y."
