Description
Glass plate negative showing Wakehurst, the Van Alen Estate, located on Ochre Point Avenue. The house was designed by Charles Eamer Kempe, and built by Dudley Newton, as a replica of an Elizabehtan manor from the United Kingdom. Its grounds were designed by Ernest Bowditch.
