Description
A PAIR OF AMERICAN GOTHIC REVIVAL WALNUT ARMCHAIRS ATTRIBUTED TO JOHN AND JOSEPH W. MEEKS, NEW YORK CITY (American, circa 1850) with mellow patina, new cream silk upholstery and a spired finial crest above an intricate Gothicized back with arched traceries. The ring-turned arms end in balls and are raised on turned legs. Attributed to J.W. Meeks, NYC.
