Description
A CHINESE EXPORT FAMILLE-ROSE PART TEA SERVICE (circa 1765) comprising of a teapot and cover, a slop bowl, a hot water jug, a tea caddy and cover, a sugar bowl, six tea bowls, four coffee cups and three saucers. Each piece is decorated on a bianco-sopra-bianco trellis diaper ground with iron-red camaieu riverscape medaillions surrounded by oval reserves containing famille-rose floral sprigs. All the medallions are outlined in iron-red and gold scrollwork.
